We Are Gospel Centered
As a church, St. Andrews is centered on the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. Christianity is more than simply a moral system as some falsely assume. Christianity has a moral system, but it is much more than simply a moral system. The gospel is not intended to simply make us better people; the gospel makes us new people. It brings new life for those who are dead in sin, freedom for those enslaved to sin, mercy for the broken, and hope for the hopeless. The gospel, then, forms the center of all that we are and do at St. Andrews as we seek to worship God in faithfulness, nurture His people, and reach the lost. We desire to be a church where the gospel is faithfully and regularly proclaimed in word and deed. We also desire to be a church where the gospel is shared. United to Jesus Christ, we are united to one another and seek to share in one another's struggles, joys, and sorrows as we seek to grow in our understanding of the gospel and its application to our lives. In addition to all of this, we desire to be a church that is serving through the power of the gospel in our local community and throughout the world.
